VETERAN ACTRESS, SOLA SOBOWALE GIVES BACK TO THE SOCIETY

Veteran actress, Sola Sobowale, better known as Toyin Tomato. Recently showed her humanitarian qualities through the donation of gift items to Jazz 38 Club members of Reagan Memorial Baptist School, Yaba, Lagos. The fun filled event was spiced up with several activities like musical performance, drama, mock news, choreography, poem recitations and beauty pageant. As part of the beauty pageant, participants from both the junior and senior secondary schools contested for Miss Jazz 38 Club, with Miss Narriwoh Nicole emerging as the senior Miss Jazz 38 and Miss Grace Imeke, the junior miss Jazz 38. The high point of the event was the impromptu on the spot interview with the actress and comic act, Koffi, who responded to questions about their careers, achievement and plans in their chosen professions.
Speaking at the event, Sola Sobowale, advised the students on the need to take all academic works seriously, leaving out all negativity that might hinder their progress. She said: ‘‘ this event collided with my philanthropic initiative visit in giving back to the society and as well having a close contact with every girl-child where we can have an avenue to interact’’. Popular comedian, Koffi urged the students to imbibe the culture of going for their heart desires and more importantly, knowing that education is key and valuable.
